Road freight is a transport modality that offers fast and cost efficient, door-to-door delivery or local distribution services.

Average time for road transportation:
Road shipments within the Benelux can be done within 24 hours.
For other European countries, shipments can be delivered from 24 to 90 hours, based on actual destination.
Groupage shipments
Small shipments that are less than FTL can be shipped through groupage.
This way packages or pallets of various clients can be combined into one larger shipment.
The different cargo for groupage should be possible to combine together in one shipment. Therefore, the groupage criteria and conditions should be met.

When considering road shipment, please choose the most optimal delivery terms (Incoterms) for your cargo.
Here are most used Incoterms for the road shipments:
FCA (Free Carrier)
Free Carrier FCA named place / Incoterms 2020.
This term also may be used any transport modality.
DPU (Delivery at Place Unloaded)
Delivery at Place Unloaded DPU / Incoterms 2020.
The seller delivers when the goods, once unloaded are placed at the disposal of the buyer at a named place of destination.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
Delivered Duty Paid DDP named place of destination / Incoterms 2020.
The seller delivers the goods when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer, cleared for import on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination.
CPT (Carriage Paid To)
Carriage Paid To CPT named place / Incoterms 2020.
The seller must contract for the carriage of the goods and hand them over to the carrier. At this point, the risk passes to the buyer.
DAP (Delivered at Place)
Delivered at Place DAP named place / Incoterms 2020.
The seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination.
